So, Sean and Angie are bringing: 2004 Atalayas de Golban & 2006 Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro La Planta. Both are Ribera del Duero wines, 100% Tempranillo. Why? The two wines appeared to me in a dream!
I am bringing a 2004 Tinto Pesquera from Ribera del Duero, 100% Tempranillo.
Chris and I are each bringing a bottle from the Ribera del Duero region 'cuz we been there and that's how we do.
Update: Chris picked up the Tinto Pesquera----same as Seth but 2003, for comparison.
I am bringing a 2003 Lorinon Reserva Rioja from Navarra. It is a blend, but primarily Tempranillo. I also got to meet Chris at the store!
We are bringing the 2004 Emilio Moro from Ribera del Duero. And a surprise bottle......
I'm bringing mesquite barbeque potato chips.
I brought Pago De Los Capellanes 2004. It is a Crianza (one year in oak barrels one year in the bottle). It is broken down into 80%Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), 10%Cab, 10%Merlot) Wine Spectator gives it a 93 and it is also listed in their Top 100. It is also grown in Clay soil.
